Getting to Laura’s office: Broad Art Center, Suite 2200 (2nd floor)

Start in the brick-paved courtyard facing the Broad Art Center, the large white building with wooden sunshades on its upper floors. A tall, rust-colored steel sculpture shaped like an ellipse will be on your right, and a covered walkway with a glass canopy will be on your left.

Step-free route (elevator)

  1. Walk straight across the courtyard to the glass entrance at ground level, just to the right of the wide concrete staircase. The path is level brick paving.

  2. Go inside (this door has a push-button opener) and take the elevator to the 2nd floor.

  3. When you exit the elevator, go through the double doors in front of you. Then turn left and go through a second set of double doors, which lead back outside. Neither set of doors has a push-button opener.

  4. The Student Services suite (2200) will be directly in front of you, behind a large glass window at the top of the outdoor staircase. The entrance is a single door with no push-button opener.

Stair route

  1. From the courtyard, take the wide outdoor concrete staircase in the center-left of the building. It has handrails on both sides and about 30 steps.

  2. After about 20 steps you’ll reach a landing with several doors. These lead to a lecture hall, so keep going up the remaining stairs.

  3. At the top, the single door in front of you is the entrance to the Student Services suite (2200).
